1- Day NSBC On-Water Training Modules 1 & 2

This on water training course follows the National Safe Boating Council curriculum and covers the first two modules Introduction to Powerboating and Precision Docking and Boat Handling. Training is conducted on a twenty three foot center console boat with a single outboard engine, giving students real experience in vessel control and maneuvering. The class is designed for two students per instructor to ensure focused guidance and personalized instruction. Small group training allows each participant to gain meaningful hands on practice in a safe learning environment.

Safety is the primary focus from the start of the course. Students begin with boating terminology pre departure checklists and the proper use and location of safety equipment before heading onto the water. Instruction emphasizes smooth throttle control steering techniques and close quarters maneuvering to build confidence and skill. Courses are taught by certified instructors holding US Coast Guard and NSBC credentials. Upon completion of all four modules in the curriculum students receive a digital certification. This course is ideal for beginners who want structured practical training in powerboat handling.
