This comprehensive one-day first aid course is specifically designed for the unique challenges of providing emergency care aboard small recreational craft. Whether you're navigating short coastal hops on a powerboat or embarking on longer offshore cruising passages, the training equips you with essential knowledge and practical skills needed to respond quickly and effectively to medical situations at sea. With a strong focus on real onboard scenarios, the course covers everything from CPR and hypothermia to seasickness, dehydration, and emergency communication.
Accepted by the MCA, World Sailing, and recognized for RYA Yachtmaster and Advanced Powerboat certification, this course meets the medical training standards required for both leisure and commercial operators. Once booked, you will be contacted to arrange your face-to-face training date. By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident handling emergencies, performing life-saving techniques, and coordinating assistance using VHF—ensuring safer, more prepared time on the water.
