We absolutely loved this whole trip. Our guide Ronaldo was the best guide ever. He helped us with everything we needed, he made us feel safe in the desert, showed us all the hidden gems in this special area and made this experience unforgettable. Also we had so much fun with our driver and best DJ Kevin. We feel super lucky that we were surrounded by very kind people.
It was an amazing trip with Salty desert tour. Every places we went were unbeatable! The tour had a reasonable price for 3day 2 nights in Uyuni and offered dropped off to Atacama. Antonio, our guide was super helpful, fun and acknowledge. We had a really wonderful time jn Uyuni. Noted that there might be some limitation of the national resources for example, hotels facility (water, shower, heat system), electricity, gasoline that you might expected.
This was one of the worst travel experiences we've ever had. The driver and guide were not just unprofessional—they were outright reckless and dishonest. We did not book with this company, but were left in their care when our driver’s car broke down. Within 10 minutes, their own car also failed—dead battery and broken radiator. We were stranded for hours with no reception while they lied about “10-minute fixes” and ignored chances to get help. The guide, who spoke English, failed to update us and even stood by as my 60 year old parents pushed the car. They kept driving a broken vehicle, knowingly risking further breakdowns and our safety. They refused to tell us what was wrong, only for us to find out later—after the car overheated again—that they were topping up the radiator with water to keep it going. This was negligence, not bad luck. They gambled with our safety and time. If this is the standard of service, avoid this agency at all costs.
