Objective discrepancy between the service contracted and the service delivered The Salar de Uyuni is an exceptional experience of very high touristic value. This review does not concern the destination or the itinerary, which are remarkable, but focuses exclusively on the service provided by Uyuni Tours Bolivia, compared to what was contractually agreed in writing. Following direct contact and written confirmation via WhatsApp, we contracted a 3-day / 2-night higher-end tour (USD 220 per person), including premium vehicles, private rooms with private bathrooms, and a differentiated service compared to standard or budget tours. Without any prior notice, already inside the vehicle at the start of the tour, it became apparent that the group consisted of passengers from multiple agencies, the guide/driver was not part of Uyuni Tours Bolivia, the vehicle did not correspond to the advertised premium models, and accommodation and meals were of a basic standard. It was confirmed on site that other passengers under objectively identical conditions paid approximately €100 less per person. Additionally, the return transfer to the bus station, which was included in the proposal, was not provided. A written and documented complaint was sent after the tour; no response was received. This review is factual and intended solely to inform future travelers, based on verifiable elements.

I had a great experience with uyuni tours! The communication was really fast and easy, I got picked up from the bus terminal and Richard explained everything I have to know. I wished to be in a group of internationals and that’s what I got :) Our driver umbeto was a really nice and funny guy and we felt safe throughout the whole trip. The accommodation for the 2 night were great and even had hot showers. I lost my iPad before the trip and Richard even helped me getting it back

I originally booked a 3D2N Salt Flats Tour with transfer to San Pedro with Uyuni Tours, however this had to be shortened to 2D1N with an extra night in Uyuni due to poor weather conditions at the original land border crossing. The team was swift to provide alternatives and arrange for transportation so we could get back on our original itinerary without incurring significant further costs, our guide was Alex and he’s awesome. Extremely proficient in English, he was able to explain us everything the entire trip while also ensuring safety and that we get to the popular spots at the best time! While weather wasn’t the best on the lagoons, we were able to enjoy a significantly smoother journey in dry season as the roads were clearer. Salt Hotel was simple but good, we had an electric heater, hot water, and electricity throughout the entire night. Alex also gave us an unexpected stargazing tour just outside the Salt Hotel as the skies were really clear that night. Highly recommend this tour especially for English speakers! Thanks ALEX & UYUNI TOURS for the wonderful experience.

TOP! My wife and I were undecided if we should take several day tours in Uyuni or if we should go for the 2 or 3 day tour. We're thrilled we opted for this 3 day Salar de Uyuni and Laguna de Colores Tour! The Salar is amazing but the other sights you get to see in this tour are also breathtaking. Our guide Richard was great, the hotels are really comfy considering the fact we were in the middle of nowhere this is by far your best option. Definitely, go for this private tour instead than a shared one, you won't regret it! Thanks Uyuni Tours.

I had the best time ever!! The tour was amazing and unforgettable. We had two different guides and both were just so sweet and did everything possible to made it a great trip! Our second guide explained sooo much about the whole area and Bolivia in general. And the booking was so easy and comfortable. I’m a vegetarian and was a little scared that the food will not be that good or it’s gonna be just sides as a main course, but for every meal they had so good alternatives for me. 10/10! I got picked up and brought to the bus station by the sweetest angel, Richard! He made this experience even better, gave me a sleeping bag and water for free. And I was able to wait in the office with a heater and water. It’s was beyond amazing and I loved every second. Thank you so much!!
