From the airport transfer to the hotel the service was spectacular!! The staff are so helpful kind and extremely welcoming! I just couldn’t get enough of how swiftly they attend to your needs ! Everyone I mean everyone kitchen staff security chefs, janitors, cleaners, name it! My fav waiter was Francis M! He was so sweet and very fast in his waiting duties at the restaurant! Ll recommend This hotel over and over again a million times ll definitely be back ! All the way from Ghana! I’m blown away from the hotel room the environment the food! I don’t think I need to say much again! Thank you!
We spent 5 amazing nights at Sarova Whitesands from the 20th to the 25th of October, From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The airport pick-up and drop-off service was excellent. Our driver, Edgerton, was thoughtful. When the kids felt a little car sick, he immediately pulled over so they could get some fresh air — and to top it off, he had cold bottled water ready for everyone. Small touches like that make a big difference. The food was another highlight, Breakfasts were a real treat, especially thanks to Everlyne, who made me a special three-egg “Muhindi style” omelette (recipe still top secret!) Dinners were great too with a huge variety, consistently fresh, and full of flavour. The kids club was a godsend for us parents. The children loved every minute, and we got to unwind knowing they were in good hands. We loved the evenings at Coco’s Bar. The live performances after dinner set such a relaxing yet vibrant tone. The Bollywood Night was dazzling, and the Friday Salsa Night was fun. A big thank-you as well to the hotel doctor, who quickly and kindly attended to my son’s minor medical issue. It’s reassuring to know that level of care is available on-site. Housekeeping was fantastic — always cheerful and efficient, even leaving us extra bottles of water without being asked. If I had to find one flaw, it’s that time seems to fly twice as fast at Whitesands! All in all, a great stay!
I had an amazing experience here at Sarova. I brought my lady here for her birthday trip along with surprising her with our marriage proposal. Not only did Claire from Guest Relations help coordinate every detail from 3 weeks prior to our stay, she also was able to coordinate an event photographer/ videographer to film the birthday lunch and proposal. From the minute we arrived it was a 5 Star experience with the most pleasant personnel and the warmest of smiles throughout our stay. A big thank you to other members of the Sarova team who helped coordinate and execute my lady’s birthday and proposal in real time - Rosa, Paulette, Maacah, and Sandra. And also thank you to Jazina for being a gracious host along with Abigail for making sure I knew who to coordinate with upon my arrival. What a great team who eased the stress with pulling off such a precious moment. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the entire stay was unforgettable. Will definitely stay here again and hope to see that entire team again.

Whether it was recommending the best dishes, attending to every request with a smile, or simply checking in to ensure I was comfortable, her service was beyond five stars. What stood out most was her attention to detail and how she personalized the experience — she remembered my preferences and went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect. It’s rare to meet someone who not only does their job well but truly cares about the guests’ experience. Jazina is that person. Highly recommended if you’re at Sarova Whitesands — ask for Jazina! This is my second time to Mombasa. Hotel is nice and huge. Food is good. But not excellent for an Asian like me. But they have a good variety. I got a sea view room. Was nice and spacious. Room service food had additional 1000KHS which is equal to 10$ which is not nice. They have a nice beach bar. I didn't like the food their. But very nice place to kill your time. Be careful with mosquitoes, huge bugs and fat cats 🤣🤣🤣. Overall, a nice stay. No complains at all!
