Sasaab is a tented safari lodge along the Ewaso Nyiro River, offering beautiful landscapes and abundant wildlife. Dining is hearty and satisfying. Facilities blend traditional design with modern comfort. Safety is ensured by professional guides on walks and game drives. Guests should bring binoculars and sturdy shoes, and early morning and evening safaris are highly recommended.

This hidden gem should not stay hidden. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there. The staff is very attentive, the food was excellent and the safari drives were fascinating. They also provide fun side activities (like camel rides, ATV rides and visit to a local village) if you don’t want to go on a safari the whole day. The animals in Samburu shouldn’t be missed. The “Samburu five” can’t be found elsewhere.

The Sasaab lodge is state of the art when it comes to great service, beautiful & comfort. Rebeca, the manager is super nice & gave us a great welcome! We travelled to Kenya through the Safari collection and were lucky enough to stay at all of their properties. I cannot stress enough how amazing this experience was - each property has a unique personality and should not be missed! Sasaab was extremely special, offering beautiful lodging, wonderful staff, excellent game drives, and cultural experiences. We were even surprised with a cookout out in the bush by a big fire. The food and service were phenomenal. And I highly recommend paying to add the cultural experience to your itinerary! They even left beaded key chains on our pillow as a gift. Nothing was missed and they clearly put a lot of thought and personalized touches into each stay! Highly highly recommend! Hopefully we will be back soon!
