Excellent hike with spectacular views. October temperatures are nice here. Not crowded at 9:00 AM start, but both parking lots busy by 1:00. The pictures show what it is about. The trail is challenging. Lots of up and down as you cross 5 canyons. Including a short ladder climb. Worth every step.

Sooo beautiful. Didn’t do the whole trail but what we did didn’t disappoint. It was a moderate trail for sure with a lot of ups and downs on rocks. Some areas are not marked well. Go early as it does get hot and there’s little shade.

Fantastic views. If you start early enough in the morning, a lot of the trail is in the shade going up. Trail is well marked so only very basic trail finding skills are needed to stay on track. Starting in the afternoon on a hot day not advised; you will have no shade. Bring plenty of water for your dog and know you will have to lift them up/down a ladder at about the half-way point. Clean restrooms at the trail head.

These towers stand tall against the rugged landscape and are pretty majestic. They are just a short drive on a gravel road from the highway. These towers are accessible to rock climbers so you likely will see some scaling and topping the peaks. There is a small camping area next to the main parking if that is of interest to you. I would recommend this stop while in the Moab area.

SO WORTH IT! Absolutely stunning there and back- both two different views. First outbound facing the gorgeous red rocks then on the return you see the Colorado river in the distance and the rocky horizon. Bring lots of water and snacks if it’s hot out! It is Dog friendly which is why we went, but FYI one part you’ll face a latter to climb down and instead go up and left and around into a little crevice that leads you down to the base of the latter. Not as crowded as other trails in the area (for us at least). Photos can’t do it justice! PS. We did the fisher trail, and I rated it as difficult but that is for the average person! 4 hours total. For expert/fast hikers it could be 3. It was super hot out and the sand can make it slippery so be careful!
