The base stay includes six guests, and additional guests can be added during booking. Children are welcomed at no extra cost beyond the base rate. With its expansive space and inviting atmosphere, this lodge ensures that every stay is memorable and enjoyable.
Guests are expected to treat the lodge with care to maintain a welcoming environment. A negligence fee may apply if simple responsibilities, such as washing dishes, are not completed, and smoking inside the lodge is strictly prohibited with a significant charge. Pets are not allowed in the lodge. A deposit will be collected upon arrival either on a card or in cash and will be refunded after inspection following check out. Stayed over a weekend during Irish Fly Fair show. My room was ok, mostly clean but I found some small bug on my bed. The view from thd room was fantastic and breakfast is good. Food at the restaurant is good but not cheap. My stay there was expensive. But mostly everything was ok. My bed was not too good.
We stayed last week check-in was easy. The staff was very friendly. The food is excellent. The room is excellent warm and cozy. The location is brilliant. We will definitely book in again.
We stayed with our dog for the first time in the Studio Appartments. On arrival to the hotel we were greeted by friendly and informative staff who also made a fuss of the other half and gave him a card as it was his birthday and the dog was given loads of attention too !. The Studios had everything you need for a comfortable stay and the views were amazing. The Studio was right next to the spa with lots of amenities to relax with. There is a lovely accessible walk around the grounds of the hotel, with a play park and tennis courts beside the Studios also. We were also able to take our dog to breakfast and dinner. The food was beautiful and locally sourced with great views onto the lough from the dining room, The Kove. We had a lovely weekend and cant recommend the hotel enough to anyone travelling with their pet. We will definitely be back to stay again !.
We (couple and dog) stayed here this weekend and were unfortunately really disappointed! The booking process was difficult (lots of back & forth over emails until the room we wanted was taken so we had to opt for a more expensive one). Despite the high price, breakfast was not included and there is a £60 extra fee for a dog, which is a lot for no dog bowl or treat or anything at all. At dinner, service was terrible & portions were expensive and small. A glass of wine is £10. The strangest and most intimidating thing happened at the pool... The hot tub closing time is 8pm. At 7:45 we were asked to leave even though we asked could we stay until 8pm. When we got out, the staff member (a young man) waited beside us while we dried ourselves and put on our gowns. It was horribly awkward and not what you would expect from a luxury hotel. I would not recommend coming here to anyone. There are better places for less money!
We stayed here for our anniversary and were not disappointed. The location is stunning, although the weather was not so much. We had a beautiful riverside view room and it was spotless. The staff were lovely as was our breakfast and dinner for our 2 night stay. We would definitely come back again.
