Guests also have access to a private picnic table and fire pit, creating the perfect setting for outdoor meals, evening conversations, and peaceful nights beneath the stars after exploring the surrounding area.
A short walk from the site leads guests to the main outpost building, offering a bathhouse, gift shop, and seasonal beer garden and café during the summer months. While the bathhouse closes from November through early March, visitors can still enjoy the property’s many recreational features, including a disc golf course, basketball area, ping pong, darts, and cornhole activities.

Our group of 36 recovery warriors had an absolutely incredible experience with Bigfoot Outfitters during our 7th annual Recover WILD rafting trip to celebrate National Recovery Month on the Ocoee River! From start to finish, everything was top-notch—professional, welcoming, and full of heart. A huge thank you to the owner Trevor and his right hand, Warner, for going above and beyond to make our weekend unforgettable. They didn’t just provide excellent rafting services—they truly cared about our group. They even met us after hours and made sure we had lights for our Saturday night gathering, which created such a warm and meaningful atmosphere for us. That kind of thoughtfulness and extra effort makes all the difference. The **guides—Ryan, Charlie, Zach, Bryan, Trevor, and John—**were outstanding. Skilled, knowledgeable, and fun, they kept us safe while making sure the adventure was exciting and full of laughs. Every rapid felt like a team victory because of their leadership and encouragement. We also loved the two-night stay in the lodge and cabins. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and perfect for our large group. Having a cozy place to relax and connect the night before the river made the whole experience even better. And we can’t forget Tom Tohill of Digital Ocoee, whose excellent photography captured the energy, joy, and memories of our trip perfectly. His photos are a treasure we’ll carry with us long after the water calms. Bigfoot Outfitters isn’t just a rafting company—they’re a community. Trevor, Warner, Tom, and the entire team made us feel like family. We will 100% be back next year and highly recommend them to anyone looking for not only an amazing Ocoee River rafting trip, but also a place where genuine care, hospitality, and adventure come together.
We had a great trip with Bigfoot outfitters this weekend. Ryan our guide was awesome, very knowledgeable and gave us the exact amount of thrill that we asked for. I have used several different outfitters over the years but these guys were without a doubt the best. From the nice well maintained equipment to the professional and fun employees, these guys are leagues above the competition. I’ll only be using big foot from now on. I can’t wait for the next adventure!!!!
My experience with Bigfoot Ocoee Outfitters was absolutely incredible! We did the full river and our guide, Caleb, was amazing. He was not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also made sure we all had a fantastic time while getting us down the river safely. I have been down quite a few times with different outfitters and it’s the small things that make a difference. One being the pfds and helmets, they weren’t old and smelly and were in great shape. I highly recommend this company and a trip with Caleb if you get the chance!
