Indulge in the rich flavors and charm of Rome’s Trastevere neighborhood on this unforgettable 4-hour walking food and wine tour. Wander through ivy-draped alleyways and cobblestone streets as you taste your way through four locally loved venues. Sample over 20 mouthwatering delicacies — from 30-year aged balsamic vinegar, truffles, cheeses, hams, and D.O.C.G wines to handmade pasta, pizza, and artisanal gelato. As you stroll between tastings, immerse yourself in the captivating history and culture that define this authentic Roman district, where every corner tells a story and every bite celebrates Italian tradition.
Your culinary adventure begins at Trapizzino, the modern street food sensation of Italy, where you’ll enjoy your favorite stuffed pizza pocket paired with fine D.O.C.G wine. Continue to an award-winning salumeria to savor Italy’s finest cheeses and cured meats — including Parmigiano Reggiano with aged balsamic and silky Gorgonzola. Relish fresh homemade pasta, pizza from the oldest wood-fired oven in Trastevere, and fine wine at a family-run restaurant. End on a sweet note at Fonte della Salute gelateria, learning how to distinguish authentic gelato while tasting favorites like lemon from Amalfi and pistachio from Sicily — a perfect finale to a truly Roman feast.

Roberto

A very interesting and enjoyable tour guided by the very entertaining and amusing Luca (Murphy.) A very nice combination of good food, good wine and Roman history with a nicely sized group of eleven.people sampling food at seven varied stops. My wife and I had a wonderful evening and can highly recommend this tour.

We took the Eternal Rome: Jewish Ghetto, Campo de' Fiori and Trastevere tour with a wonderful guide, Riccardo. He explained the history of each district and the food we tasted along the way. The food and drink was plentiful and the stops were well-spaced between walks so we were never too full. We had taken this tour during our last visit to Rome and Riccardo kindly called ahead to the restaurants so our menu was different this time. This is a great way to get a deeper dive into a city beyond the major tourist attractions. Do not eat before these tours!!!

One of the highlights to our trip to Rome, we have been on a few tours in Rome and we're a bit nervous for this but our host Dalia made the entire tour amazing and we had some fantastic guests with us. For the food, it was a great selection of foods that we really enjoyed. As vegetarians we were catered for well, especially the final few stops. I would massively recommend choosing this tour and if you're lucky enough to have Dalia host you, you'll have an amazing time! We travelled Trastevere and sampled the vest foods from the best locations and along the way learnt some fantastic history.

We had a private walking tour of Trastevere with Giuseppe and it was AMAZING! We spent 4 fabulous hours walking, eating, drinking, and learning all about the lovely area of Trastevere. Every bite and every sip was better than the previous one. Peppe was funny, charismatic, and knowledgeable about all things Rome. Not only did we learn about the local food and restaurants, we also learned about Italian history and culture. No question was off limits. We would highly recommend a private tour because we got the VIP treatment from every restaurant and we had amazing conversations.

This experience is a must for food lovers traveling to Rome and looking for unique and hard to find local spots. The places they take you to would be almost impossible to find or get into without some serious local connections. Giuseppe was our guide and he was super knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor and made the experience super fun. My wife and I live in NYC and actively seek quality food. We had the best burrata we’ve ever eaten at da Enzo on this tour. We ate there before the restaurant was open to the public and when we left, the line was around the block, and for good reason! You also get a tour of a 2000 year old wine cellar at Spirito Di Vino, which was incredible. Everything else was top notch and you also get to meet some cool people along the way. 10/10, will do this again if/when we come back to Rome!

Absolutely fabulous our guide Tatyana was so knowledgeable with her local insights. The food and wine pairing was perfect. My wife and myself highly recommend this service for any foodie travellers, only 12 people in our group, so made some new friends
