The tour begins with a visit to the charming “Casa del Coco” (Coconut House), where guests are introduced to traditional Dominican production methods. Here, you’ll learn how coconut oil is crafted using local techniques and enjoy tasting a selection of fresh organic products straight from the source. Visitors can sample locally grown and roasted coffee, rich cacao, and the famous Dominican herbal liqueur, mamajuana, offering a flavorful introduction to the island’s agricultural heritage and everyday traditions.
