We booked a 3-night stay at this property and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival late in the evening, the first room we were given smelled strongly of cigarettes and had cobwebs covering the ceiling. The room was dirty overall. After insisting, we were moved to another room, which was only slightly better. The terraces were dusty and full of cobwebs, the grass outside was completely dry (we were on the ground floor). In the bathroom, the shampoo dispenser was empty. The pool was green, with leaves and debris floating in it, and the side grates were broken. Flowerpots around the property had broken trays with spilled water, and most of the plants were withered or half-dead. The property in no way resembles a “Chateau” with 4–5-star prices. Instead, it looks abandoned and poorly maintained. At the restaurant, we ordered a platter of local delicacies. Sadly, everything tasted old and seemed to come straight from a box. The cold cuts were dried out and clearly pre-sliced long in advance. The only positive impression was the restaurant staff – young, polite, and eager to work. Anyone can build a hotel, but the true challenge is maintaining it and providing consistent service afterwards. With such high prices, one expects much higher standards – unfortunately, Copsa did not deliver. For the first time, I couldn’t wait to leave, and in fact checked out a day earlier due to the poor conditions and the lack of value for money.

I would not recommend Chateau Copsa to anyone looking to host a celebration. While the rooms themselves were nice, the overall experience was an absolute disaster. The service was by far the worst part — and that alone completely ruined what should have been a special night. Our event manager, Neli, was shockingly rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful from the very beginning. Instead of making the evening smooth and enjoyable, she spent the entire time rushing us and creating unnecessary stress. She came up to me just minutes into the dinner, while I was still greeting guests and taking photos on my 21st birthday, to push us to sit down. Everything about her behavior felt dismissive and unwelcoming. On top of that, we were only informed on the actual day that the restaurant needed to close by 11:30 because there are rooms above it. How does a professional venue fail to communicate something so important in advance? With dinner starting at 8 pm, we were left with only three and a half hours to celebrate not only my milestone birthday but also my mother’s 50th. The night felt rushed, chaotic, and completely mishandled. The problems didn’t stop there. Service at the hotel itself was nearly nonexistent — staff were rarely around, and when they were, they seemed irritated by our presence. The food was another huge disappointment: bland, overpriced, and nowhere near the quality you’d expect for what we paid. Between the lackluster dining, poor service, and dismissive attitude from management, it was impossible to enjoy the evening. What should have been a joyful, once-in-a-lifetime celebration with family and friends turned into a stressful and deeply disappointing experience. Chateau Copsa is beautiful on the surface, but behind the façade is unprofessional staff, bad service, and overpriced food. I would never return and strongly advise anyone who values respect, organization, or basic hospitality to look elsewhere.

The only good thing was the staff — very kind and giving their best. The room wasn’t very clean, especially the bathroom. The shower head had hair and rust, there was a grasshopper in the bathroom, and the windows in the room, inside and outside, were very dirty. In the morning, we asked for an iron, and they gave us a literally dirty one with some stuff stuck on it. The pool cannot be used under any circumstances because you can catch а disease or cut yourself on the broken bars. In the relaxation areas, the pillows were dirty and messy, and the garden furniture itself was old and torn. We decided to have lunch outside the hotel, but for dinner we chose the hotel restaurant. The main issue with the restaurant is that you don't have much choice, and the prices of the main courses are quite high, which is normal because they offer game and veal. However, they didn’t even cook them properly: our duck was overcooked and dry. We also ordered a mushroom risotto, which was soaked in fat. The first night, there were 5 tables with two people on them and the service was good for one waiter, but the kitchen was very slow!
