We had an absolutely amazing day with Jose and Karina!!! They were both so personable and knowledgeable. We started out with a bit of fog, so they quickly adjusted our tour to be able to see the lower lying areas in the sunlight before heading up to Sintra at which point the fog has lifted. We cannot say enough about how great it was to spend the day with these incredible guides!!

I loved every moment of my Arrabida day trip and wine tasting! Jose was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, introduced me to some amazing people and took beautiful photos of me (which was highly appreciated as a solo traveler). I can’t wait until I return to Portugal - I would definitely book him again!

excellent day, with our very knowledgable and charismatic guide! Jose was awesome and accommodating. went the extra mile to make use visit things like the beaches, hell’s mouth, cabo da roca and such, at the end of our very full day. Even gave us some very useful tips on our way back for things to watch on our own in balem! Thanks for the day Jose!

Jose was great ,.. personable and entertaining a wealth of knowledge. We did a half day and he took us to many different places just tailoring it to whatever we wanted with him providing input.

José, our guide to all things Lisboa/Portuguese (and sometimes South African) was an absolute legend, the tour company was really easy to work with, and not a single day has passed when our crew hasn't discussed what an incredible day this was. We booked the "Private Sintra Tour from Lisbon with Cellar Visit and Wine Tasting" and let me tell you dudes, we had no idea what we were in for. José made the whole Pena Palace entrance very straightforward, and filled us in on all the history- far beyond the scope of the posted signage. Next up was the town proper with a taste of some fantastic Ginja liquer, and from there we rolled on to a few coastal vineyards where we were walked through how the Colares appellation is grown, as well as a few gobsmackingly beautiful scenic spots. We had a recommendation for a lunch spot, Búzio, which had a wide range of options and a really fresh seafood selection. All this was prior to the actual wine tasting! We headed over to Colares and the team there was excellent at conveying the information about the wine and producing a variety of which to try. We were able to get into particular detail about how the grapes are harvested and processed which we really enjoyed. The tinto was really unique, and a certain famous someone compared it to upper-crusty Burgundy, which I actually thought was pretty apt. Stowed away a bottle but am really, really looking forward to taking one out the next time we grill some rump steak. Alright I'm getting carried away- you've seen the itinerary. If you're in Lisbon this one's a no-brainer: book it!
