Ilir was a knowledgeable tour guide. I came during the down season and it was only me and him during the car ride. I felt very taken care of and very safe the entire time. He was very personable and we shared stories of both our perspectives on life. He even answered all of my questions and even played me some Albanian music while telling me the meaning of each one. I learned so much about the past of Albanian culture and the influences of how communism impacted the existing communities throughout Albania, whilst emphasizing Saranda (where Ilir grew up) up to Gjirokastër. I also enjoyed learning about the subtle differences of the culture in the north and south of Albania. I would definitely book another tour with him, he is very kind. 10/10 trip, would definitely refer my mom and my friends to him in the future!

We had a fabulous experience on this mini-van tour from Saranda. The customer service was excellent — everything ran smoothly, the vehicle was comfortable, and our driver was both safe and reliable. Our local English-speaking guide shared a wealth of local knowledge, giving us history and insights along the way while also allowing enough time at each stop to really explore and take in the atmosphere. The itinerary was perfect: starting with panoramic views from Lekursi Castle, stepping back in time at the Mesopotam Monastery, marveling at the natural wonder of the Blue Eye, visiting the Ottoman bridge and learning a little more about Albania’s past at each stop. We finished at the UNESCO-listed town of Gjirokastër with its stone houses, cobbled streets, and historic bazaar. We even got a great recommendation to try traditional Albanian food which was delicious This small-group tour is excellent value and highly recommended for anyone visiting Saranda who wants to experience history, culture, and nature in one day at a relaxed pace.

The minivan was spacious, comfortable, and pleasantly cool, which made the journey relaxing. My family and I went on a minibus tour in Albania last week with Ilir, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Ilir was incredibly friendly, helpful, and gave us a great price for the tour. He was also very punctual and reliable, which made everything run smoothly. The tour itself was amazing. We visited beautiful spots like the Ottoman Bridge, Lukresi Castle, the stunning Blue Eye, and a beautiful town, Gjirokastër. Ilir was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information at each stop. Overall, the service was honest, professional, and warm. My whole family really enjoyed it, and we would definitely recommend Ilir to anyone visiting Albania. He was excellent!

This was a FANTASTIC tour!! The group is divided into 3 Mercedes vans, all in new condition with very safe drivers. Our guide Ilir is very passionate about his job and provided a really informative experience. He’s also really kind, personable and very funny. We did Tour 1 and aside from the main stops, we loved driving through the incredible mountainous scenery. We didn’t know much about Albania before coming here and are amazed at how beautiful this country is! Highly recommend this tour, it was truly unforgettable! Thank you!! 🏔️ 🇦🇱 🫶
