I recently visited Coppinger in Dublin and had a mostly positive experience. The service itself was good, but the food took around 45 minutes to arrive. One of the steaks came out well-done instead of medium and had to be sent back, which added another 15 minutes to the wait. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake, which was disappointing. Once the food arrived, it tasted very good, and the quality overall was impressive. The atmosphere was lively, though the place was quite loud, which might not suit everyone. Despite the delays and lack of apology for the steak issue, I’d still recommend Coppinger to others for the great food.
We had a big group of 8 for our mom’s retirement party and it was the perfect choice. Such friendly and bubbly staff, great food, and the noise level was perfect!! Really recommend this for anyone and any party size.
Great value early bird menu - perfect if you’re heading to a show afterwards. Gorgeous food and cocktails, loved the ambience and the staff were brilliant.
We just had mussels and crispy potatoes paired with a glass of Riesling and we enjoyed it a lot! I must say that the mussels were a bit too salty but that didn’t keep me from spooning the juice of it. The portions of the two dishes were great as well.
Stopped in randomly for a quick bite and a cocktail and ended up having the most incredible burger ever. The chimichurri potatoes were outstanding as well. The cocktails were so good we went back hours later to try different ones. Our server was fantastic, I do not recall his name. I believe he mentioned he was originally from Germany.
