Pride Paddle Out is a welcoming weekly paddling gathering celebrating love pride and outdoor recreation The Community Boating Center creates an inclusive on water space where participants can connect explore paddling and enjoy the scenic bay No previous paddling experience is needed and adults of all abilities are welcome.
Participants can explore new or existing paddle skills while enjoying time on the water The main paddlecraft are two Mega SUP boards that can accommodate six to ten people each Skilled participants may also use a sea kayak or sit on top kayak when available Paddlecraft selection depends on daily availability and participant skills.
The gathering offers a supportive environment designed to make outdoor recreation more welcoming and accessible Participants can enjoy paddling while meeting others in a friendly community setting Safety remains the main priority Experienced guides monitor conditions and the activity may be cancelled or rescheduled when weather or water conditions are unsafe.
Pride Paddle Out takes place weekly while the larger Pride Paddle Parade happens annually during Pride month The activity welcomes participants aged 18 and above with all abilities No experience is necessary but participants should be prepared to spend time on the water Paddlecraft are available on a first come first served basis.
