Step into a winter wonderland and experience the beauty of Oslo from a unique perspective. This winter hike will take you through a snow-covered forest high above the fjord, equipped with spikes and poles for a safe adventure. The journey begins at the Oslo Visitor Centre outside Jernbanetorget, where we board the Frognerseteren metro line. Enjoy the scenic train ride with spectacular views of the winter landscape. Upon reaching Frognerseteren station, the first panoramic view of Oslo and the fjord will take your breath away.

As we continue our hike, we will explore the winter forest, passing frozen ponds and learning about the mystical creature Huldra. Our first stop is the charming Fuglemyrhytta cabin, a cozy Norwegian hut offering a perfect break and insights into Norwegian culture. We then head toward the summit of Vettakollen mountain, where you will be treated to the most stunning view of the city and the Oslofjord. Take in the crisp winter air and snap a photo to capture this unforgettable moment. After a relaxing break to enjoy the view, we make our way back to the metro station, completing our adventure back at Jernbanetorget.
