The Bushcraft Course run by Adventure.ie was absolutely brilliant! I learned so much throughout the experience and had a huge amount of fun along the way. Tom and Rhys were amazing instructors – knowledgeable, friendly, and really passionate about what they do. They made everyone feel comfortable and involved, no matter their skill level. I’d highly recommend this course to absolutely anyone – whether you’re a complete beginner or just looking to sharpen your outdoor skills. It’s a great mix of learning, teamwork, and adventure. Mayo Cancer Support Association worked with Adventure.ie to stage a fundraising abseil challenge in Croke Park in October 2025. From start to finish, Adventure.ie, were an absolute pleasure to work with. We experienced nothing but 100% professionalism and efficiency from Ronan, Lisa and all the team at every encounter. On the day of the abseil challenge the Adventure.ie team really added to the magic of the experience, reassuring and motivating our abseilers, assisting them every step of the way and helping us all to celebrate smashing the pre-existing fundraising record for an abseil challenge in Croke Park. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Adventure.ie team and the Croke Park abseil experience to anyone.
Had the best experience with Tom at the end of September for the Bushcraft Skills course. Only three of us showed up, making the experience intimate and personal. Tom is enthusiastic and the epitome of the call of the wild. The weather was AWFUL, the nonstop rain poured at an immense rate but Tom's gregarious attitude kept out spirits up and influenced our determination to see the day through. It actually was a matter of survival, there was something cathartic about our tasks, trails and tribulations in the torrential downpour. The impossiblity of finding dry kindling turned into a determined challenge, regardless of the outcome. The joy of Tom finding and chopping down dead wood and each of sawing out a log was a massive dopamine hit. Rain water coffee never tasted so good!
Arctic adventure on the Finnmarksvidda Plateau, Norway with Adventure.ie I am just home from a expedition in Norway with adventure.ie. We crossed the Finnmarksvidda over 5 days, skiing from hut to hut with one night spent in tents on a frozen lake! The trip was a great adventure with spot on instruction and guidance from Ronan and Cindy our guides for the adventure. The specialist equipment was top notch and there were no nasty surprises or hidden extras. What was advertised was delivered in spades. This was not my first expedition with adventure.ie and it definitely won't be my last. The team put so much into planning and delivering, constantly managing any risk whether from weather or other causes along the way.
