Improve your diving experience with the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty course designed for divers who want longer and more efficient underwater dives. Enriched air nitrox contains a higher percentage of oxygen compared to regular air which helps reduce nitrogen absorption during dives. This allows divers to extend their bottom time and shorten surface intervals between dives making it easier to enjoy more time exploring reefs shipwrecks and marine habitats.
The course takes place over two days with training sessions scheduled from morning until early afternoon. Participants learn how to plan and perform dives safely using enriched air mixtures with up to forty percent oxygen. Training also covers gas analysis dive planning and safety procedures when using nitrox equipment. With guidance from experienced instructors divers gain the confidence needed to safely use enriched air during recreational dives. After successful completion participants receive the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty certification which opens more opportunities for longer and more enjoyable diving adventures.
