The SSI Advanced Adventurer course is designed for certified divers who want to expand their underwater experience and explore a range of diving specialties. Over three mornings, participants complete five open water adventure dives that introduce new techniques, environments, and skills, helping divers grow in confidence and capability beneath the surface.
Each session combines structured learning with real diving practice in open water conditions. This balanced approach allows divers to safely experience different types of dives while gaining a clearer understanding of which specialties they may wish to pursue further.
During the program, participants complete key adventure dives such as deep diving and underwater navigation. These activities enhance awareness, orientation, buoyancy control, and overall dive precision while exposing divers to more varied and engaging underwater environments.
Upon completion, divers are certified to a maximum depth of 30 meters, unlocking more advanced dive opportunities and exploration potential. Typically running over two to three days depending on conditions and selected dives, the course offers a safe, enjoyable, and progressive step in any diver’s training journey.
