Estate Tour

The Estate Tour offers a deeper guided exploration of the historic Taliesin created by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. This four hour experience invites visitors to discover the remarkable landscape buildings and creative spaces that shaped Wright life and architectural philosophy. The journey begins with a shuttle ride from the visitor center to the estate where guests explore several important locations including Taliesin Hillside Drafting Studio and Hillside Theater while learning about Wright work design ideas and the community that lived and studied here.

During the tour visitors also access unique areas not commonly seen on other visits including the home Wright designed for his sister. Guests gain insight into the daily routines and learning environment of the Taliesin Fellowship which was Wright architectural training program. Light refreshments are enjoyed in the Hillside Dining Room offering a glimpse into the social life of the community. The experience includes walking through scenic areas of the estate and is best suited for visitors comfortable with moderate walking and standing while exploring the beautiful countryside of Wisconsin.
