Highlights Tour

The Highlights Tour offers an engaging guided experience exploring the remarkable architectural legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin in Wisconsin. Visitors begin the journey with a shuttle ride from the visitor center to the historic estate where Wright lived and worked for many years. The tour starts inside the main floor of his residence and personal drafting studio where guests learn about his creative process daily life and the development of his architectural ideas. The guide shares stories about his career and the influence he had on modern architecture.

The experience continues with a scenic ride across the expansive property featuring views of the water garden Midway Barn and the Romeo and Juliet Windmill. Guests then explore the Hillside complex which was an important part of Wrights architectural teaching program. The tour enters the Hillside Drafting Studio and Theater including the large drafting studio where members of the Taliesin Fellowship once worked and studied architecture. This tour is ideal for visitors who want to understand Wrights life work and design philosophy while enjoying the peaceful rural landscape of Wisconsin.
