The trek begins with an early morning departure from Arequipa, passing through Chivay and the famous Cruz del Condor viewpoint to witness the majestic flight of Andean condors. From Cabanaconde, descend into the canyon to spend your first night with a local family in San Juan de Chuccho. On the second day, continue your hike through picturesque villages before reaching the oasis of Sangalle, where you can enjoy a swim in natural pools. The final day includes a pre-dawn ascent back to Cabanaconde, followed by a scenic return to Arequipa with stops at thermal baths and panoramic viewpoints, arriving around 18:00h.
