Embark on a scenic two-day journey through the breathtaking Colca Valley, beginning with a morning hotel pickup in Arequipa. Travel through the stunning landscapes of Pampa Cañahuas in the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, with stops at Tocra Pampa and Patapampa—one of the highest vantage points in the area, offering panoramic views of the Andes and glimpses of local wildlife. Upon arrival in Chivay, enjoy lunch (at your own expense) before checking into your hotel. In the afternoon, saddle up for a tranquil 2–3 hour horseback ride through the charming countryside of Yanque, crossing scenic bridges and viewing ancient Inca terraces along the Colca River. Afterward, you may choose to relax in the nearby hot springs (own expense) before settling in for the night
On the second day, begin early with breakfast and a drive to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint. Here, you’ll witness the majestic flight of Andean condors soaring above one of the world’s deepest canyons. Spend time taking in the views or opt for an hour-long hike along the rim. As you return, stop in traditional villages like Maca, and pause in Chivay for lunch (own expense). Your journey concludes with a direct drive back to Arequipa, arriving around 17:00h—bringing to a close a memorable exploration of Peru’s iconic canyon and countryside

Anyone is willing to take you to the Colca Canyon from private cabs to 40-seat bus tours. On a two day venture Colca Trek got us first to the place where condors are floating upward on the thermals and gave us time and space to walk along the canyon rim watching for all types of birds from parakeets to kestrels. We were the ones on bicycles and taking other satisfying treks. We circled back to the miradors after the crowds were bundled off in their big impersonal buses. Our base was Colca Trek Lodge in Pinchollo where the canyon starts to narrow, where rooms have dramatic canyon views and the food is delicious (Fabrizio is a talented & trained chef). But that’s not all. Our driver (Michi) and guide (Jesus) were warm, knowledgeable and fun. They were the glue for a wisely curated two day experience. Excellent value. Great group energy. Glad I picked Colca Trek.

we had an amazing time during our 2 days colca canyon tour with this company. Vlado saved us with offering us very last minute places for this tour, while our originally bought tour / company didn't pick us up..and I can say I'm happy we went with Colca trek by Vlado instead, as his approach to show the clients the best places while avoiding crowds is real, it's working perfectly - there's great added value in it. The whole experience is so much better this way. Everyone on the team is a true profesional taking care of clients' needs. One of the best experiences in Peru.

This tour was so much more than expected. Vlado and Sabrina were so helpful. The lodge was amazing and the food delicious and healthy. Our guide Paty and driver made the tour feel so natural and not touristy. Highlights: We saw vizcacha, vicuña, many birds including condor and a highly endangered Andean mountain cat which even Paty was surprised and happy to spot. Practical: super comfy beds with an amazing view at Colca trek lodge. New bikes and clear instructions of use. Off the beaten path treks and visits.

Excellent agency, we had a wonderful two days in the Colca Canyon and in the surrounding. The parcours was different of what most agencies are proposing. We found it much more interesting. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We could see so many things. Just to say that we were also lucky with the conduits are we have seen many!
