Ripper (5 lessons)

This five-lesson surfing program is designed to take your skills to the next level, covering a wide range of techniques from the basics to more advanced maneuvers. Over the course of five lessons, you will learn how to trim and turn, paddle out, perform duck dives or turtle rolls, catch and ride unbroken waves, and master angled take-offs, bottom turns, and S-turns. Each lesson lasts two hours, and all necessary equipment is provided, including 5mm thick winter-grade wetsuits, boots, gloves, and hoods. Lessons are subject to surf and weather conditions, and alternative times are available upon request. The program takes place at Sandend on the Moray Firth, while bookings for Tiree are available by contacting the surf school directly.

Participants should bring towels, swimwear, sunscreen, and warm clothes to ensure comfort and safety throughout the lessons. Suds Surf School provides professional tuition in a relaxed and supportive environment, selecting the ideal conditions and equipment tailored to each participant’s skill level, whether you are a beginner, an intermediate, or an aspiring tube rider. After booking, a confirmation email will provide a code that must be used to book your second, third, fourth, and fifth sessions, ensuring a smooth and organized learning experience.
