Cruiser (2 lessons)

This beginner surfing lesson offers a structured introduction to the basics of surfing, focusing on learning how to trim and turn. Each lesson lasts two hours and includes all the necessary equipment such as thick wetsuits, boots, and other safety gear to ensure comfort and protection while in the water. Lessons take place at Sandend, Moray Firth, with alternative times available upon request, and schedules may be adjusted depending on surf and weather conditions. Participants are guided through the fundamentals of surfing in a safe and supportive environment, allowing them to gain confidence on the waves while learning essential techniques for balance, movement, and control.

Suds Surf School provides professional tuition tailored to each participant’s skill level, from beginners learning to stand up on a wave to intermediates working on green waves or aspiring tube riders. Participants are advised to bring towels, swimwear, waterproof sunscreen, and warm clothes for before and after the lesson. After booking, a confirmation email with a code is sent, which should be used to schedule the second session. The lessons combine fun, challenge, and skill-building in a relaxed atmosphere, ensuring that beginners develop their surfing abilities while enjoying the exhilarating experience of riding the waves safely and confidently.
