Optional damage insurance is available exclusively for surfboard rentals, covering damage per board but excluding theft, loss, injury, or other risks, with separate coverage required for each board. Reservations are accepted only for weekly rentals, while free delivery and pickup are offered for bookings of $75 or more across select Hatteras Island locations, including Rodanthe, Salvo, Waves, Avon, Buxton, Frisco, and Hatteras.
