SUP Hire (Day)

Red inflatable standup paddleboards are available to hire from Sandend on the Moray Firth, complete with an adjustable paddle. If you wish to use these boards outside of Sandend, a £100 deposit along with a driving licence or passport is required. The hire is flexible with other times and dates available upon request. Standup paddleboarding (SUP) offers a fun and engaging alternative to traditional surfing, improving core fitness and working nearly every muscle in the body. SUP boards provide a stable platform, allowing participants to glide smoothly across the water once balance is achieved, while also giving a unique vantage point to observe marine life below the surface.

SUP is accessible to almost everyone, from a relaxed flat-water experience to catching waves similar to surfing. Lessons are offered to adults and children aged 8 and above, with parental supervision required for under 12s and observation for under 18s. Participants must be able to swim 50 meters unaided. Lessons typically last 2 hours unless otherwise stated, with a maximum group size of 6 for flat-water SUP and tours, and 2 for SUP surf lessons. Discounts are available for larger groups, with 10% off for 6 or more participants and 20% off for 10 or more, although groups may be split to maintain manageable sizes.
