We really enjoyed our stay at Kilkea Castle. I booked just one night away with dinner to try break up a long January and it was exactly what we needed. Staff in the hotel were lovely and very welcoming especially in the spa area and restaurant. Our room was toasty and really comfortable, we stayed in the carriage rooms. Food was perfect and we ate our evening meal in the Hermione's restaurant and I was rolling out of there 😁. Staff in the restaurant were brilliant, from being friendly and in great form to being attentive to us. We also tried the thermal suite which we absolutely loved and it really helped us relax and unwind. I would go back in a heart beat.
Stayed here yesterday and omg such a beautiful castle. Our room was amazing with a beautiful view of the gardens and courtyard. Our meal in the restaurant was outstanding with the friendliest servers. A beautiful breakfast in 1180 was amazing aswell and staff couldn't of been more attentive. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to stay again 🥰🥰❤️❤️
We've not yet even finished our stay but feel it necessary to get a raving review in ASAP. We've come for our honeymoon and the staff at Kilkea Castle have made this an experience we'll never forget. From the beautiful and spacious rooms, to the stunning grounds and gardens surrounding the castle, we couldn't have imagined anything better for this occasion! A huge thanks to the spa and reception staff for their generosity and making us feel very welcomed. Special shout out to Glenn and Sam for putting on the charm for our final dinner at the castle and blessing us both with a fantastic night of celebration. If Australia wasn't so far away, we'd certainly be back here in a heartbeat.
