Highly recommend this company for wine touring in the south of England. We have now thoroughly enjoyed 2 private tours with Nicola seeing many wineries and vineyards in Kent. The region is very beautiful and has an increasingly popular wine region. Nicola is a wealth of knowledge and personality. She is able to deliver a fun and stress-free day of winery-hopping. Lunch at a pub is included on this tour and makes for a lovely day tour from London.
Nicola was amazing in helping us organize and plan our day trip! We took a quick train from London out to Tonbridge, where we were picked up by Brian, who greeted us with adorable tote bags with water and some chips (crisps? lol). This came in very handy throughout the day. Brian was amazing. He was so kind and informative all day! Each winery was very welcoming and all the tastings were delicious. It was an amazing day, and we highly recommend the tour, the wineries, and Brian as a guide!!
My friends and I attended the English Cheese and Wine tasting tour in August 2020. We booked the tour earlier in the year before the Covid-19 outbreak, and luckily we could still attend due to the measures Justin and Nicola put in place. Before the tour Nicola was very efficient via email and telephone, helping to ensure the trip would run successfully with the correct social distancing measures in place. Our transport to the vineyards enabled us to socially distance comfortably. Both Chapel Down and Woodchurch vineyard tours and tastings were great, and I particularly enjoyed the afternoon’s wine and cheese tasting hosted by Nicola and Justin, who have great knowledge of the perfect pairings. Thank you both for going above and beyond to give us a fantastic day out!
We had the pleasure of doing the private wine tour to Kent with a pick up in London. From the first contact with Nicola to the drop off in London, everything went extremely smoothly. Justin, our guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating, and the eight of us had the best time visiting Sedlescombe, Oastbrook, and Woodchurch wineries, along with a great pub lunch we ate in the garden of a cute pub. Throughout the whole day we met fantastic wine producers who really care about their craft, and it was amazing to see and to talk with them while trying their wine (usually 3-4 varieties per stop). Justin also arranged for us to stop at Chapel Down's wine store (as they were not open for tours) and bought us a few bottles to drink while at lunch. Thanks, Nicola and Justin!
An informative and fun day complete with tasting excellent and promising English wines! Our group of friends had almost a full day led by Martin our experience guide and helpful driver Robin. Highly recommended, we're planning our next tour as we speak!!
