Customer Reviews

Like others have stated- good if you need (an overpriced at that) bed for the night. No food services/storage on site, and the shower drain in room 113 was back venting (toxic) waste gases into the bathroom/bedroom. The first time stepping into the room, it smelled horrid and unhealthy. The sink was trapped, and the toilet is naturally trapped.. so after not running the shower, the smells come right back through the drain due to whatever minor- or major plumbing issue(s) present. In addition, the water pressure at times was nonexistent coming out of the bathroom sink and shower. Barring all of the plumbing issues, it would probably be a 3 star review. Bathroom was well cleaned, the desk attendants were nice, and the location of the lodge is convenient. Hopefully they call a plumber out.

It's fine if you just need a bed for the night. There are no cooking/eating facilities other than a kettle. It's located in the middle of Dublin which is great, but that's about the only positive. The bathroom looked nice but poor water pressure. Staining on bed linen and curtains (pictured) and the carpets on the stairs need replaced. Some plug sockets were coming off the wall. There is no lift and five floors of narrow stairs so not recommended if you are disabled or older. We had a lovely view of a construction site from our room 🤣

The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The room was clean and cozy. Great central location. Our room was on the top floor and we had to go up 3 flights of stairs. It didn’t bother us too much but it can be seen as inconvenient to others.
