Meh...beautiful but just a bridge
Amazing place during the winter season. Totally empty is best
The bridge is very beautiful, but the tourist boom and the popularity of the damn boats have spoiled the entire landscape. There are enormous traffic jams under the bridge, hundreds of bamboo poles, and a lot of noise. There are bridges all around that are just as beautiful, and there are no one on them.

Yulong village has a beautiful ancient stone arch bridge and is a good starting point for rafting trip down Yulong River. You can get there easily from Yangshou by taking buses north towards Guilin or Yangdi to the city of Baisha and then a local taxi, three wheeler or motorcycle taxi (at the only stoplight int he city). Yulong village is about four kilometers west of Baisha.
