He even took a photo for me when I asked, helped me carry the heavy board at the end, and showed me where I could take a shower. I’m really grateful for his warmth. I love these guys. Originally, I learned to surf in Cali but a move to Ireland and 3 massive leg surgeries put me on dry land. So at 50+ I decided to start again. Pat, Abbie and Stuart (and everyone else, Chris, Liam, Eddie, Richie & John) have all been unbelievably welcoming, supportive and helped me get better while never losing track of how important it is to be having fun, relaxing and enjoying oneself! Plus, even though I take weekly summer lessons, I’ve never felt judged and all paces of learning are encouraged:) So get your butt in a wetsuit and get in the waves with this crew. You won’t be sorry!
