Our family took a trip here last month and it was amazing. It was cold (as expected) because it was the ice hotel and the glass igloo was so pretty. We stayed one night each with two (2) small children (ages 6 and 8). They handled the ice hotel pretty well but it's not for the weak that's for sure. The whole room is made of ice (even the beds) but warm sleeping bags were provided so once inside the bags, we were fine. The glass igloo were amazing and beautiful. The service even after our visit was great. I had lost my watch somewhere (still don't know where it is) but did not figure it out until I came back. It was an Apple Watch but I think maybe it fell out of my luggage at some point. Either way, the hotel staff was great at communicating with me and checking multiple times for my watch. The service was amazing and the idea is novel but fun. I highly recommend this company for either the ice hotel or glass igloo. Both nights we saw the lights.

It was an incredible experience. I have fibromyalgia and my body is easily stressed, but I slept very well once I figured out how to use the sleeping bag properly. Pros: * Good quality of sleep * Food was delicious, we ate at the kota restaurant * Rooms were beautiful * Perfect views for northern lights * Snow sauna and jacuzzi were a highlight, super fun despite having to walk briefly in the cold in a robe! * New lounge area for overnight guests with lockers big enough for multiple bags * Service staff made us feel welcome Cons * Everything is so expensive * While the facilities are lovely, there is very little privacy and at times I felt like I was staying in a hostel. This is more of a personal preference thing.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here in Jan 2026. Our first night was in the snow hotel, and it was really special being able to sleep in one of the beautiful rooms, and experience the quietness and exclusivity once all the day guests had left. The warm lounge area was really well done - bathrooms, changing rooms, lockers, lots of comfy sofas, and sleeping pods for afternoon naps, or if you get too cold during the night! There are hourly briefings you can join to learn how to sleep in the snowhotel. There is the ice bar where you can get drinks, and a very large restaurant with multiple rooms you can book for dinner. Our second night was in a glass igloo which we really enjoyed, and it was amazing to have a full 360degree view of the night sky to hopefully catch the northern lights. They have a mini fridge and kettle, as well as a bathroom with a good shower. The beds are motorized so you can adjust the bed to lie flat or sit up to enjoy the view. The whole area is really well done, all the staff are super friendly and helpful and everything is very tastefully designed. The Kota restaurant is beautiful with a large open fireplace dominating the centre of the round restaurant, and they cook the salmon next to the fire for the evening meal which is nice to watch. They had free snowshoes you can borrow to explore the local forest or long walks around the lake. There are also inflatable donuts to use on the purpose-built slide, as well as kick sledges to use, which are all free and fun. We pre-booked the ice sculpting which was really good fun and very interesting to see how difficult and precise the artists have to be. We also did the private Finish sauna and jacuzzi which was really good - 90mins to use a private sauna, and snow sauna, and a open aired jacuzzi which was a really nice experience. They do other activities such as ice fishing and guided snowshoeing, and we'd also booked the electric snow scooters, but unfortunately they are not working at the moment so it was cancelled. Would happily come again, and stay for a few nights in the glass igloo again.

What a cool (literally and figuratively) experience! My kids and I will never forget our stay here! With the sleeping bags they give you, I was even warm at night - don’t worry about being too cold! And there are warm places to relax, which I didn’t know. The sauna there was amazing, as was the breakfast. Definitely a bucket list experience!

A Stunning Winter Wonderland at Arctic SnowHotel! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visiting the Arctic SnowHotel in Rovaniemi was a truly breathtaking experience. The scale of the snow hotel itself is massive and visually stunning, both inside and out. The craftsmanship of the ice and snow structures is world-class, making it a real architectural masterpiece. Beyond the snow structures, the entire resort is thoughtfully designed: * The Main Hotel: The permanent "warm" hotel building is high-quality and provides a luxurious contrast to the ice rooms. * Family Friendly: The outdoor area features a well-built children’s play area, making it a great destination for visitors of all ages. * Top-Tier Service: The service throughout our stay was exceptionally professional and high-class, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Whether you are there to see the ice art or stay in the high-quality hotel, the combination of the spectacular surroundings and premium service makes this a top-tier destination in Lapland.
