You can spend many hours as you want. I spend like 2 hours. Unexpectedly learned a lot about Finland, Lapland and Artic history & exhibits. I recommend it to go here first. This way you can learn about the place before going out and see it yourself.
We spend more than 5 hours here in the museum. This is a great place to visit if you love to explore and learn. But please bring your lunch with you. We get really hungry during the visit and the only place to eat is a tiny cafe(didn’t meant to be offended but it doesn’t feed hungry people and asian stomach).
Pros: • Clear, well-organized exhibitions (great storytelling) • Interesting mix of nature, history, and human stories. The exhibitions cover Arctic nature, history, and everyday life in a way that feels thoughtful and well put together. • Beautiful architecture that adds to the experience. The long glass corridor overlooking the river creates a great sense of place and sets the mood for the visit
