New, clean and organised airport, but the Aircon does not work, its VERY warm. Also lost a star as no free drinking water, which is standard for airports.
Beautiful airport, and not far from the city center. Easy to get an uber from here, keep in mind uber is easier to get if you go to the departure level, and avoid the taxi area. The airport feels fresh and modern.
I travel very often, Matecaña is one of the best airports I have ever been. Great, warm and lovely people, very good service. The airport is very organised and modern. Even the taxi drivers make you feel secure, fair prices. Love it and going to come back very soon. Police still need a lot to improve.
