It is described as a purpose‑built, architect‑designed facility created specifically for chocolate production, tastings, and visitor experiences. It is a popular destination in Yarra Glen, Victoria, known for its scenic setting and immersive chocolate‑making experience. Founded by owners with deep roots in hospitality and boutique food businesses, it has grown into a major attraction offering artisan chocolates, freshly churned ice cream, a large café, and hands‑on classes. The venue is designed as both a tourist stop and a celebration of local produce, drawing families, day‑trippers, and chocolate lovers year‑round. Its specialise in handcrafted chocolates made on‑site, ranging from classic milk and dark varieties to creative seasonal and locally inspired flavours.
Great tourist attraction and bring great joy to chocolate lovers. It has a wide variety of chocolates for selection (i.e. from milk chocolate to dark chocolates, with nuts or without nuts). Staffs are friendly. This place has a great view and picnic area for family to chill out and enjoy themselves. The serving of the ice cream are generous and the flavors are quite tasty as well. Love the honeycomb favor ice-cream cone.
The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie is a fantastic place to visit, especially for families. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly staff and the amazing smell of chocolate. The place is bright, clean, and has beautiful views of the Yarra Valley, which makes it feel relaxing and fun. The food and drinks were great. The hot chocolates were rich and full of flavour, and the café meals were fresh and generous. There are plenty of options for both adults and kids, and everything we tried tasted really good. The desserts were a real highlight—beautiful to look at and even better to eat. What I loved most is how family‑friendly the Chocolaterie is. There’s lots of space for kids to move around, a big outdoor area, and a fun atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy your time. Whether you want a quick treat or a full meal, this place is perfect. I highly recommend the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie for families, chocolate lovers, and anyone looking for a great day out with good foods and drinks.
