We celebrated our microwedding and reception at Jack Rabbit Vineyard on Saturday 4th October 2025. Kate, Mel and the Jack Rabbit staff were fabulous to deal with and made sure that our wedding day ran smoothly. Kate was extremely helpful with the planning process and her attention to detail was much appreciated. The food and beverages were divine and the views are spectacular. Our wedding event was perfect... a fun, memorable occasion for us and our guests. We highly recommend Jack Rabbit Vineyard for hosting your wedding.
The views and restaurant set a great atmosphere. I rate the setting 4 out of 5. The food was neither amazing nor terrible, it was nice enough. I rate the food 3 out of 5. The butter was nice though. The service left much to be desired. Things took way too long to be served. Ordering ice-cream for kids took over 30min. The manager could see that we weren't served on 2 separate occasions and it still took way too long to get served the ordered dishes. I was told incorrect information relating to cakes. I asked if I could bring a cake and was told no I could not, but I could simply choose from their selection of cakes on the day. On the day I was told that I had to pre-order cakes 1 week in advance. Poor knowledge and service. I rate service 2 out of 5.
During my holiday in Australia, having lunch at Jack Rabbit Restaurant was one of the most memorable experiences of the trip. The food was delicious, the beer was excellent, and the combination of spectacular views and amazing vibes made it unforgettable. Our kids enjoyed playing freely on the grass, and we had plenty of opportunities to take beautiful photos with the stunning scenery. Unfortunately, we arrived without a reservation, and there wasn’t enough space for our group at first. Even though we had to wait, I was truly impressed by the staff’s effort — they went out of their way to find a table for us, even arranging one outdoors with a great view. To the blonde lady with long hair who served us — I’m sorry I forgot to ask your name, but thank you for your outstanding service! If you plan to visit, I highly recommend coming on a sunny day and making a reservation in advance to secure a good spot.
