The Lisbon Oceanarium is absolutely amazing!😍🦑🦀🐠🪸We spent almost 4 hours there and didn’t even notice how the time passed, although by the end we were a bit tired 😅. There’s so much to see and explore, everything is beautifully designed and well organized. One of the highlights for us was the jellyfish room, it’s mesmerizing🪼. The lighting, the slow movements, and the peaceful atmosphere make it feel almost magical. It’s truly hypnotizing to just stand there and watch them float gracefully. We also really enjoyed watching the divers feed the sharks — such an incredible experience to see it up close! 🦈 Everything in the oceanarium is spotless and perfectly maintained, with clear paths and great viewing points. It’s a wonderful place for both adults and children — educational, relaxing, and unforgettable. Definitely one of the must-visit spots in Lisbon! 💙🌊

A mesmerizing journey into the deep – visually stunning and educational. The Lisbon Oceanarium is world-class. It is not just about seeing fish; it is an immersive experience that perfectly balances entertainment with serious education. The central tank is the masterpiece, allowing you to see the marine life from two different levels. But the highlight for me was the projection room. We watched a documentary about the importance of ocean conservation that was deeply moving and well-produced. We were lucky to visit when there were no crowds, which allowed us to enjoy the exhibits in peace and really appreciate the tranquility of the "underwater" atmosphere. A perfect 5-star experience.

A beautiful and spacious aquarium. It is very well-designed with plenty of room to view a wide variety of fish. Great facilities for children and people with disabilities. Clean and tidy throughout. Highly recommended!

Two adults and we absolutely loved this aquarium. The underwater forest was so beautiful and peaceful. The aquarium was clean and designed so wonderful - the huge center tank with such a variety of plants and fish and so many viewing areas. The other exhibits were great, the puffins, penguins and the darling otters. This was the best aquarium we have seen. Bought tickets online and walked right in. So happy we went.

I wanted to like it more (I absolutely did not dislike it), and maybe I wasn't in the right mood for it, but it's wasn't 5 stars for me. There is definitely a lot to appreciate. The tank is clearly huge with so many fish and creatures at their different levels. Much of the time your are in very dim lighting which makes watching what's going on in the tank easier and maybe more dramatic. There are a plethora of side tanks to observe all kinds of additional sea life. It is absolutely a wonderful set up and a great place to bring kids. If you're an ocean enthusiast: amazing place for you. It has a terrific, large gift shop. Definitely worth a peek.

We've taken a guided tour for 2 people. It was just perfect! The guide was, a young boy was excellent, delivering many informations and curiosities about the species visited. We've spent one our and half (almost) wonderful!

I spent a delightful morning visiting the Oceanário Lisboa, and it was one of the highlights of my time in Portugal. The visit began under perfect conditions — a relaxed start to the day followed by a beautiful walk and then our guided tour of the aquarium. Our guide, Silvia, was outstanding — knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about marine life. She made the experience even more enjoyable for everyone in our small group of seven. The two young children with us were completely enthralled at every display, which made the visit even more special to witness. The exhibits themselves were wonderfully designed, showcasing an incredible variety of ocean species in beautifully maintained environments. The central tank is breathtaking — you could easily spend an hour just watching the graceful rays and sharks glide by. By the time we stepped outside, the heavens had opened and it was pouring rain, but honestly, I couldn’t have cared less — the experience inside was so magical.
