Beautiful views from the terrace, just have to walk through a very congested store. The Banana daiquiri is awesome, but you’re only getting a small 6 oz portion unless you ask for a souvenir cup. Price was a bit high for the drinks, but it’s a matter of convenience & atmosphere that made it worth it. Good luck parking if you’re not with a tour group. Don’t die in your vehicle on the way up too- it gets slightly sketchy on the roads up to mountain top.
We booked a cruise ship excursion specifically to this location as I had seen that it was well recommended by other cruisers and visitors to the area. The gift shop is huge and has something for everyone. The drinks are available at the back of the shop, very easy to find And when we were there, they were running several locations so the wait was only a few minutes. There is an observation deck outside with incredible views of the areas. There are several plaques, explaining what is visible in the distance.
I saw some people say it was expensive but I’m not sure if we went at different times because they had shirts 9.99, keychains 10 for 5.00 and a great banana daiquiri. This was the best store/lookout I’ve been to here.
