If it weren't for the light pollution coming from Front Royal and the Riverton shopping plaza this overlooks would have given a better view of the northern lights

Our Driver Randy was very knowledgeable of the island. Took us to various beaches and off beaten path to private beach. He was very patient. Would highly recommend this if you are looking for a private trip.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. And my God, the drive itself on the Skyline Drive is worth it! It is $30 for the ticket but mine was free since I'm a Veteran. I loved it even more because of that reason alone. I had my Caddy BW 6 Speed and I absolutely did my spirited driving here. The Hogback overlook is the best overlook here in my opinion. The altitude and the scenes is what makes this the most beautiful.
