Our family of four had a great time in this quick bushido lesson. The kids were absolutely delighted to be allowed to handle swords! So were the parents to be honest. We got some great photos from this activity and a deeper appreciation of the age and quality of these beautiful weapons.
Super fun and learned a lot, was one of our fav things.
This activity was a very good price and was done very well. The building is easy to find from Osakajokoen station (just across the river). And the experience shares a room with a calligraphy room. With that said, for the total price, the sensei guides you through sword swinging motions. Once it's satisfactory, he then goes to more advanced movements. The final part is you cutting through what looks like bamboo (actually it's tatami mat). It also includes pictures and they're more than willing to take pictures on your phone as well. All in all, I was very pleased with the experience.
