Amazing guide who knew the area for the best Northern Lights viewing
Kerrie

We had a great time seeing the Northern lights. The forecast wasn’t great and we hadn’t been lucky the night before so we weren’t too hopeful but then they appeared. Also thanks to Norbert our guide who took som photos of us and sent them onto us for no extra cost which was a nice surprise.

Brilliant tour! We were unfortunately unable to see the northern lights on the first night but the company made it really easy to rebook for the next night. Both nights we were picked up promptly and the guides were brilliant. On the second night we were lucky enough to see an absolutely amazing display! I would highly recommend this tour!

Friendly and informative guide who helped with photos, and shared lots of information and anecdotes about the Northern Lights and life in Iceland. The night was cold - it was minus twelve! - but Arman's knowledge and perseverance paid off and we got to see some lovely lights. Also, everything was on time, and the transportation was comfortable. Recommended!

Our guide Arman (sorry if I spelt it wrong) went above and beyond to ensure that we saw the Northern Lights. He drove us around to lots of different locations where lights may be visible. When unsuccessful due to clouds, he picked us up the next day to search again (which was successful!!!!) and was super friendly, told us lots of stories and made us laugh throughout the whole trip! Thank you! :)

Had an amazing day on our tour to Flateyjardal. Well organized by a team that really cares and enjoys showing this part of Iceland to you. Special shout out to our guide Goha who was informative and funny. Highly recommended.

We did the Goðafoss, Mývatn, Dettifoss (and a lot more!) tour on November 30 with Ingi. He came on time to pick us up and right off the bat i knew me and my cousin will have an amazing unforgettable day. And we did! Ingi really made our tour personalized. He took us to locations that only a true blue local would know about. We specifically loved his stories and facts about the places we went to as well as his funny personal stories. It was our 1st whole day on Iceland and we were so glad we booked a tour with IceAk versus having to drive ourselves. We could but there’s really no fun in that. Not only did Ingi tour us around but we felt immersed because of the way he did it. Ingi, our favorite tour guide/bouncer in another life 😂 thank you so much for that wonderful day. We will never forget your hospitality. Continue doing what you love because it’s such a wonderful job to show the world how beautiful your hometown is, how out of this world Iceland is. Until next time! - Odette & Liezel

Ingi, our tour guide from IceAK, was truly incredible and made every moment special, from his enthusiasm, professionalism, knowledge and love of his country. And an excellent photographer! We were blown away by the landscape and saw the northern lights multiple times. Thank you for making us feel like locals in a magical land!

We did the Myvan forgotten routes tour in the super jeep and what an amazing day we had! We had great fun off roading in the snow, we went to the top of some mountains and the views were amazing! Our guide Ingi made us aware that this tour can also be done in large groups as there is a off roading 4x4 bus which sounds amazing! Ingi made the day, he is very knowledgeable with local information and history. He is friendly and we had so many laughs! Ingi went above and beyond to make our day special and memorable, thank you! It was well worth the money and is a must for everyone's holiday!

We took the Lunar-like Askja super jeep tour. It has just left us speechless! The tour took us in several nice spot; highlights were: 1. Herðubreið mountain (we stopped at the ranger house) 2. Lunch stop at Dreki hut, with a quick walk to a nice waterfall 3. Viti crater, which translates to "hell" in Icelandic. The crater is a stunning turquoise pool, you can leave the car at a parking and take a hike in the caldera and down into the crater 4. Holuhraun Lava Field: formed during the 2014-2015 eruption, seems banal but it really feels like you're on the moon (and actually Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins trained here before going to the moon!). From a specific point you also have a nice view on Vatnajökull glacier. So if you like nature in its rawest form, vast landscapes and you are interested in the power of geological forces, go to Askja! Last but not least, our guide Ingi is just the best you can expect for this kind of tour! Amazing driver with a love for his country that he likes to share with others! Bravo!
