Yes. I was there with my daughter in person. Its really not a cut and paste job! Great experience. You can hire towels too. Bars outside at the Spa with restaurant inside. Open space under the sky and overlooking Akureyri. Great place to see the stars. Couples. Families. Solo travellers. So beautiful place to relax and unwind. My pictures of the Forest Lagoon have temporarily disappeared AGAIN so I'm sending others from my trip to Akureyri. Enjoy!

The perfect place to relax and recuperate after a long day adventuring. The views are great, the facilities clean, and the pools dreamlike. It's beautiful any time of day, but definitely worth going at night to catch the northern lights thru the rising steam of the Geothermally heated waters. It's open fairly late. Also perfect for a post-ski apres! Be sure to guard your towel though, they seem to disappear too easily, but luckily the friendly staff is there to help.

Wonderful visit. So relaxing. The place is absolutely beautiful, nice views of Akureyri and the forest. Peaceful, nice accommodations, the tables inside the lagoon to put your drinks are so convenient. The sauna is really nice and it has a great view too. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is easy access. Totally recommend for a relax chilling time.

This was a fantastic day trip, but what made it absolutely perfect was our guide Jullii!!❤️❤️ Not only was he knowledgeable, kind, funny, patient, he took the time to talk to every single person on the tour. I can’t speak highly enough about him!! He made tour perfect, regardless of the “refreshing” weather!! Thank you again Jullii❤️❤️

Such an awesome spot between Akureyri sea bay and forest trees. Everything was super well set up, and the water was warm and relaxing. The sauna and the mix of hot and cold pools were a great touch. Totally worth it!

The enitre excursion was great. We went to everything that was promised. Time spent was good, in each destination. Our guide, Michiel, Was wonderful, knowledgeable, humorous, from the beginning to the end. He explained everything and showed us where to go on each spot. Even though there were people who were not cooperative in showing up on time, he made a point in telling everyone the importance of doing so, and consequences of not being timely, without being overbearing. I totally enjoyed this tour and would recommend this company and Michiel!! He was wonderful! They also go us back on time, for our cruise with no concern. Driver was great.

Awesome thermal pool experience here! The staff were friendly, the thermal pool was a good temperature, as well as their hot tub. They also had a very cold pool available and a sauna to sit in to get some heat in your body. Their signature drink was delicious and so was the other drink options they had. Great showers, changing rooms, and secure lockers they had as well. There is still a lot of development going on here since they are trying to make the place 2x as big as it is now, but didn’t effect the overall experience, but exciting to hear about and to see the final result. Overall, great experience here and highly recommend it!

So glad that we booked the tour to experience not just the popular Godafoss but also the beautiful lake, the interesting volcanic rock formations and the colourful mud pools around the region. It was easy to spot the "Saga Tours" hut at the end of the dock, from where we were led straight to the right bus without any hassle or ambiguity. Definitely worth the money which is one third of the price of the same excursion offered by the cruise.
