* Very rarely I have given 1 ⭐ Star review on Google. But this place needed one. Food: Even after informing to make it hot 🌶️🌶️🌶️ We got served bland food. Chutney and curry sauce were sweet ! They add green chillies when asked for making hot. Service: Place is half empty and they ask for reservation. You can reserve table even after entering the restaurant on their website or Google. They collect and hang coats of some customers and don't do it for others. They hand table napkins for few and not to others only to talk about their this kind of attitude inside restaurant among people which was clearly evident when neighbouring tables also discuss this attitude and making a mockery of service. They don't serve the way you ask so 0 ⭐ Star Atmosphere: Cramped ! 2 floor seating yet they make difficult for people to move or to go towards washrooms. Need to concentrate on the taste of Nepali food. Serving on brass plates and having nepali dish names is not enough! People visiting temple bar, Dublin as tourist would visit once but people living in Dublin may not go again. Hope this review changes their attitude and bring back the authenticity.

Having visited Nepal earlier this year we were excited to try Montys for the first time and relive our trip for our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and authentic. The service and ambience was warm and friendly and price for quality of food was good value. We even had a complimentary glass of bubbles each to toast the anniversary. Very nice. Highly recommend.

Went to this place to get something different from fish & chips ;) and we were not disappointed. The staff was very kind and we could sit downstairs alone, kind of like a private room. The food was good, not that spiced up in my opinion, so kind of like a western, milder version of it. Still good though and a welcome variety.

Absolutely delicious food matched by excellent service. If you are new to Nepalese food (like I was), highly recommend the Mungling Dhal Bhat (shared dish).

Had a group of 9 in here tonight and we had an amazing time. I had been once before and couldn’t wait to return. The food is UNREAL, and you can tell so much thought is put into every single bite. They also accommodate for vegetarians and vegans quite well, I loved my vegan dish which was a traditional Nepalese curry. The chef (and owner I think) came out to speak with us after & told us where everything was from & explained the different ingredients etc. he was a true gent and a pleasure to speak to. They take great pride in the food and service provided here and trust me when I say it’s worth every penny! Absolutely 5 stars, and can’t wait to come back😊
