There are many reasons to visit here, clean the environment, don't throw thrash here and there, please use the dustbin. Good place for adventure lovers and can take kids too. Religious place of Bholeshwor Mahadev as there is a belief that wishes come true here. They are currently having offers for the birthday ones, elderly ones and kids below 3ft and locals too, you can check their Facebook page too for more information.

The best spot for Panoramic mountain range views for tourists. Absolutely stunning view of nearly 180 degrees covering many sub ranges of Himalayan range, namely, Annapurna, Manaslu, Langtang, Ganesh and Everest (locally called Sagarmatha). There are many food and beverage stalls on top as also some nature trails. There is also a premium hotel on top and staying here for a couple of days will be a memory for life provided time and weather is right. Also a Shiva temple named Bhaleswar Mahadev is located on top. A number of adventure sports are also available for enthusiast. The cable car takes 15 minutes approximately from bottom and the view from the car is spectacular. Its costly, somewhere around 1200NPR to and fro. However, its worth spending that much for the view from above. Also it was gathered that interested persons can also trek to the top from the base. Overall excellent site and very highly recommended.

Chandragiri Cable Car Top Station offers stunning panoramic views and a peaceful atmosphere. The ride up is smooth and scenic, and the top station is well-maintained with great photo spots. A perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and take in the beautiful Kathmandu Valley from above.

Chandragiri Hill is definitely one of the best short getaways near Kathmandu. The cable car ride is an amazing experience — gliding above lush green forests with cool, fresh air all around feels refreshing and peaceful. Once you reach the top, the panoramic view of the Himalayas is absolutely breathtaking. On clear days, you can see the majestic Ganesh, Langtang, Manaslu, and even Annapurna ranges. The temple, the view tower, and the well-maintained garden make the place really enjoyable to explore. However, there are a few things that could be improved. The cable car ticket is quite expensive, and visitors are not allowed to bring their own food or water. Once you reach the top, everything is overpriced — even basic items cost a lot. For example, a bottle of water that costs Rs. 20 in the city is sold for Rs. 100 there. It feels a bit unfair and takes away from the overall good experience. Apart from that, it’s a wonderful place to relax, take photos, and enjoy time with family or friends. The cleanliness, scenic beauty, and peaceful atmosphere make it worth visiting at least once.

Beautiful and worth it experience to have if you are visiting Kathmandu. Must have 3-4 hours time to fully enjoy the cable car experience and the mountains and breathtaking views at the top of Chandragiri hills. The ambience, winds and weather just changes the moment you reach there. It has amazing vibe and serene environment. The weather is unpredictable as it could be sun shining bright at a moment and the very next moment it might get cloudy and start to rain. Beautiful spot to cherish some moments with your loved ones. Also offer multiple activities like zip line, skywalk, free fall, sky cycling etc. If you are a vegetarian, please try the French fries, noodles and momos there.
