Such a fun way to spend a morning in Kyoto. Yuki was very informative and showed our small group some lovely hidden gems.

We absolutely loved this tour! Kenji was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and very kindly catered the tour based to our skill level and interests of our group. We would absolutely do this again, highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our bike tour today. Our guide Milo was amazing. Such a fantastic young man who speaks amazing English and who is also fluent in Spanish and Japanese. Sometimes guides can be still hard to understand , but so amazing to get a young man who still Holds the values of his culture so dear. Sharing personal Details and extremely interesting facts we didn’t know. We had been to a few Temples and shrines, but he still gave us so much more. Best way to do this tour is the early bird for sure, as it is one hectic place around lunch time. Thank you Milo, you are a true gem.

The visit was excellent. Ben is a wonderful guide. I recommend him at 100%. He is always open to answer to question and know very well the city, bringing us to places not known by tourists. Thanks a lot for this great tour Ben!
Shannon

Ben was a fantastic guide. He had plenty of interesting information about the local sights and let us have some time here and there to explore on our own. Very glad I booked this tour!

We had an amazing time on our bike tour with Rob! This was hands-down one of the best ways to see Kyoto — from the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Forest to the vibrant red torii gates at Fushimi Inari Taisha, the stunning Kiyomizu Temple, the historic Gion geisha district, and the iconic Kinkakuji Temple. E-bikes are available (and honestly, might come in handy on a few hills!), but it’s totally doable on a regular bike if you’re feeling ambitious. Rob was absolutely fantastic — hilarious, knowledgeable, and super personable, making the whole day fun and engaging. Lunch was delicious too — the udon noodles hit the spot after a morning of exploring! Thank you, Rob, for such a memorable day and for being a highlight of our trip to Japan!

I found this tour on a social media ad and booked based on previous reviews and the kid friendly tour option. I was glad I did!! We had a fantastic day. Me, my husband and two kids (3yrs and 5yrs) enjoyed our tour today with Ray. We booked a kids trailer for our two girls and they could sit back and relax while we did all the work. We stopped at a local kids playground, the bamboo forest, kimono forest, rode through rice fields and ended at the monkey forest. The ride was flat and easy, the pace was super relaxed and stops for rests, snacks (including the worlds best donut) and photos was great! Ray was fantastic sharing his knowledge of the area, culture and Japan in general as well as capturing many photos of our family throughout the day. We had the best day being guided around these popular locations! Many thanks to Ray!!

We took the Early Bird Arashiyama Bike Tour and learned so much! Our guide, Yuki was extremely knowledgeable and had so much to say about the sites we visited. He was also very good at taking pictures - he already had spots picked out where we got great photos at the different sites. I also appreciated the fact that Yuki taught us the appropriate way to approach the shrines and temples, teaching us how to make offerings, pray for our ancestors, and make wishes. Yuki also answered all our questions, and provided insight into the Japanese culture (things that you won't read in guidebooks). I could have listened to Yuki talk all day. The bike ride itself wasn't too long between stops, and we spent a good amount of time at each area. I would definitely take another tour with him again.

We spent 2 weeks in Japan and this tour was one of the best things we did! Rob was our guide and he was knowledgeable, funny as hell, and a great photographer! I cannot recommend this tour enough! Kyoto is very busy and Rob was able to navigate the crowds on the bike and off the bike to make it feel like we had Kyoto to ourselves sometimes! Also the lunch place is fantastic! We did the 5 stop 8 hour tour and loved every minute. I recommend getting the e-bike unless you are an experienced cyclist, it just makes the tour even more enjoyable! Book the tour, you won’t regret it!!!
