Were it not for the photographer they brought along, our review here would be 4 or 5 stars. Very nice tour and crew. But the photographer actually sent the 6 of us back to the boat early or made us swim away from good interesting spots so he could take hundreds of photos of the Mexican tourists in the group in various underwater situations. He took 4 photos of our group of 6. The irony is that I dont think the Mexicans on the tour bought photos, while my wife did -- $35 for 4 photos (one of which the lighting/exposure was wrong for) while I wasn't really paying attention. Left a very bad taste in my mouth after an otherwise good day.

The highest point of our 5-star (experience, not price) Cozumel vacation was the tour with Marcelo (Captain) and Gustavo (Guide) aboard Estela. Even though rising water temperatures have clearly had a negative impact on the local corals and animals, there is still a ton of natural beauty to enjoy and experience. I am very grateful to both of them for showing my family such warmth and leading us on such a fun adventure. (And the party at El Cielito was a great capper!)

My husband and I booked the 4 hour snorkeling tour and really enjoyed it! We saw sea turtles, giant eagle ray, and nurse shark. The Columbia Reef was quite impressive. Andy was our tour guide, very kind and patient with us. The only wish was more time at the Columbia Reef and less time with the starfish. Overall, very happy with the service and thanks for the delicious ceviche!

My husband and I had a great time. It was our first experience and Hugo, Angel, Russel, Alberto and Charlie took such wonderful care of us. We were able to see sea turtles, stingrays, starfish and not to mention tons of beautiful fish. Thank you gentlemen for a unforgettable day!

Seems most of the negative comments are those who took the ferry from Playa Del Carmen but we were staying on Cozumel so had no issues whatsoever. Drove our jeep near the pier, parked close and walked right to the boat, zero hassles. The price for our family was only $40 USD each and was well worth the price. The boat captain and deck hands were phenomenal !!! We were brought to 3 separate locations - El Cielo, Palancar Reef (shallows) & Tormentos (shallows). I’ve been to Cozumel countless times as I’ve been coming since 1994 but this was one of the clearest I’ve seen the water. Had to be 200 foot visibility. Thousands of fish, filmed Nurse Shark on GoPro at Palancar and several VERY LARGE sting rays at El Cielo which seemed to glide effortlessly through the water and brush against our feet. I typically scuba in Cozumel but Me, my wife & 11 year old son had a very entertaining day snorkeling on these three locations and I highly recommend this trip to all visitors to Cozumel.
