Vitosha Mountains and Cherni Vryh Peak (2290m)

Starting at Aleko Hut, situated at approximately 1750 meters above sea level, you’ll traverse the foot of Golyam Rezen Peak and Malak Rezen Peak. The hike offers stunning views of Sofia, the Balkan Mountains, and the far-reaching peaks of the Rila Mountains, making it a scenic and visually captivating experience. As you ascend, you’ll gradually approach the summit of Cherni Vrah Peak (2290 meters), where you’ll take a well-deserved rest and soak in the panoramic mountain vistas.

On the descent, the trail leads you through the Torfeno Branishte Reserve, also known as The Peat Reserve, an area rich in rare plants and wildlife.
