Beautiful walk and you have to go with a local guide. Paying for local guides to support the local community is great, but they should at least pick up the litter and keep it clean.
The peace you get from here, you dont want to leave. It's a hike to get there so if you are a bit elderly or experience some pains, maybe take a stick like some folks I saw. The trek is worth it though. A nice hour long walk I believe to and from. That said, it is a really enriching experience and you get a sense of zen on the way. You will encounter children, ant farms, and vendors willing to sing songs for you. You might hear a cow getting slaughtered. At the end of the trek is a majestic waterfall that you just have to take in. Afterwards was the coffee tour which I am still drinking from back in the US. Support this community. I wish I bought more coffee.
Beautiful waterfall, just be careful if you hike it shortly after rain. When we went the trail was slippery with puddles everywhere. Half of our party didn’t make it to the falls due to the trail conditions.
